Questions
- Is it really free? Do I need an account?
- Yes. You can run the free tools 5 times a day without an account. A free SyncStudy account lets you save what you make and keep studying it.
- Which videos work?
- Public videos that have captions, either added by the creator or generated by YouTube. Private videos, and videos with captions turned off, cannot be read.
- Does it work with long lectures?
- Yes, but the free tool uses the first part of a long transcript. In a free SyncStudy account the whole video is used, and you can add more videos to the same subject.
- Does it work with videos in other languages?
- Usually. We look for English captions first and then use whatever language the video has. Your cards are written in the language of the captions.
- Can I trust the answers?
- The AI only uses what is in your material, but it can still make mistakes. Check anything that looks off against your notes or textbook, especially numbers and dates.
- Do you keep my notes?
- No. The free tools do not save your notes or your results. Your text is sent to our AI model to build the result and is not stored in SyncStudy. Copy or download anything you want to keep.
