Pricing questions.
- What is a credit?
- Credits are how SyncStudy measures AI work. A tutor message costs 1 credit, a flashcard deck or quiz costs 3, and a study guide costs 4. Reading your own decks, lessons and quizzes again never costs anything.
- What can I do on the Free plan?
- You can create 3 study spaces, add your notes, PDFs, videos and Drive files, chat with the tutor about them, run teach-back sessions and set up a study plan with an accountability partner. Free includes 10 credits a month. Generating lessons, flashcards, quizzes and study guides starts on Basic.
- Do unused credits roll over?
- No. Your plan's credits refill at the start of each billing period and unused ones do not carry over. On Free, credits refill each calendar month.
- What happens if a generation fails?
- Credits are set aside when you start an action and returned if it fails, so you are not charged for a deck or lesson that never arrived.
- What happens when I run out of credits?
- Everything you have already made stays available: lessons, decks, quizzes and study plans. You just cannot start new AI actions until your credits refill or you upgrade.
- Which plan do I need for Exam Mode?
- Exam Mode is on Pro. It turns a space into prep for a specific exam such as NCLEX-RN, MCAT, USMLE Step 1, the CPA Exam or CompTIA Security+, with question banks, timed mock exams and drills on your weakest areas.
- How big can my uploads be?
- Up to 30 MB per file on Free and 50 MB per file on Basic and Pro. You can also add YouTube videos, web links, Google Drive files and pasted text.
- Is there a yearly plan?
- Yes. Switch the toggle above the plans to Yearly to see the yearly price before you check out.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. You can cancel from your account settings and keep your paid features until the end of the period you paid for. If you are unhappy, you can ask for a refund within 7 days of your latest payment. See the refund policy for details.
- Do you offer plans for schools or teams?
- Yes. Contact sales for volume pricing and central billing.
